Custom Shutters

Kirtz’s experienced woodworkers craft furniture grade wood shutters capturing and enhancing the pattern and character of fine wood grains.

Kirtz Shutters are available in a variety of wood species both domestic (alder, cherry, red oak, white oak, ash, walnut, maple, knotty pine) and exotic (lacewood, tiger, burl, curly & bird’s eye maple, teak, purpleheart, rosewood, hickory, zebrawood, paduk, and reclaimed wormy chestnut).

This extensive selection allows you to match heirloom quality woods of fine furniture, an inherited armoire, a magnificent dining table, a four poster bed, or carry the charm and style of architectural millwork, paneling, or cabinetry to the windows. 

Kirtz offers painted shutters using furniture grade maple. All of the shutters are offered in 4 different louver sizes & custom louver sizes can be specified. Specialty shapes such as arches and sunbursts are available; in fact odd shapes are enthusiastically welcomed. The quality is apparent down to the reinforced dowels used craft each panel to the luxurious finishes.

Woodfold Shutters are made from Western Alder, a fine-grained hardwood noted for outstanding matching and finishing characteristics. Woodfold Shutters are truly shutters of distinction. Offering both Traditional 1 1/4" louvered shutters as well as our Broadview (Plantation) style program in 1 7/8", 2 1/2", 3 1/2", 4 1/2", and 5 1/2" louvered shutters, also Raised Panel and Fabric Insert Panel styles. Available in standard paint and stain finishes, and custom color match, Woodfold Shutters coordinate with any design and color scheme. Attention to details from order acceptance to delivery is among our highest priorities, to ensure customer satisfaction. We offer a 5 Year Limited Warranty on properly installed shutters.

Specialty shapes including Circles, Slat Tops, and both Stepped and Shaped Arches are available in both fixed and moveable louvers and all are made to your exact specifications.

For a more price point conscious shutter that still radiates the quality of a custom crafted wood shutter and for custom painted faux wood shutters we turn to the skilled craftsman of other manufacturers that also offer sand blasted genuine and faux wood shutters as well as leaded glass inserts in a variety of designs.

If your looking for sleek and sophisticated, Toro Custom Shutters are the answer. The contour designed 3 1/2" louvered shutter is available in 4 standard finishes: painted white and cloud white, as well as clear and champagne anodized aluminum. A side mounted tilt bar functions as the handle. Panel can be made up to 5 feet wide and 10 feet tall, making them the largest shutter panels available. Toro Shutters can fabricated as individual panels or as connected bi-pass, bi-fold, or reverse bi-folds for bay window applications. They are low maintenance and feature an easy to clean anti-static surface. A 15 year warranty assures you that Toro shutters will not peel, warp, chip, sag, rust or discolor. They have an exterior rating and they are perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, pool houses, saunas and steam rooms.
